Ocular Disease

At Christopherson Eye Clinic our doctors are just one part of your health care team. When one of our patients is diagnosed with an ocular disease, we can manage the disease. However, if we deem it necessary, we will refer the patient to the appropriate medical specialist.

As part of your healthcare team we can monitor systemic diseases that affect the eye, such as high blood pressure and diabetes. We communicate with the patient’s primary care physician to discuss our findings and suggestions for possible changes to treatment.

Our eye care professionals are qualified to diagnose and manage numerous ocular diseases, such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetes, hypertension, cataracts, and other diseases related to eye health.
